Buoyancy aid is a weekly training group which aims to be the antidote to sinking into a ho-hummish banal existence from listening to too much negativity when people are having tough times.
Running every Tuesday 6.30pm from 24th January for five weeks at The Stable 3-6 Wadham St, Weston-super-Mare BS23 1JY
Do you have a dream or a goal that you would like to see happen in 2023? It takes focus and energy to make a change. The enthusiasm can flip-flop and sometimes, you don’t know what you want, but you want it to be better than this! There IS more to life and there’s definitely more to you. Come and explore your brilliance.
Week one – Purpose
There is a WHY behind everything you do. Understanding what motivates you gives you a solid base like a ‘Weeble wobble toy’. You’ll always find your centre when being pushed sideways by life (Weebles wobble but they don’t fall down, remember those, if not google it!)
Week two – Confidence v’s self-faith
Confidence is born out of the evidence from experience, but what if you have been kicked in the squishy bits a few times? Self-belief is an epic rubber ball, that puts a spring in your step. We will be cultivating more of yours this week.
Week Three – Life force
May the force be with you! You can have the most amazing plans and ideas, but if you’re too burnt out to pursue them then it is tough going! Frankly, who isn’t feeling a bit emotionally exhausted? This week we learn how to protect and wield your life force in the right direction.
Week four – The inner voice
Look who talking! Most of us have an inner monologue that seems to run our lives. Sometimes thoughts are helpful and sometimes … not so much. We are going to look at our archetypes, those inner voices so we can talk to ourselves (not out loud!!) and have smarter, kinder replies.
Week five – Goal focus
If I had a magic wand and could change anything for you, what would it be? Well come on, it’s week five you know you can do it yourself now, so what do you want? I mean really really want!
Five weeks of comedy-style training in personal development that reminds you that you are made of the good stuff!
- We have a personal development session taught by Becky Walsh.
- We work on raising your life force, keeping you chipper and getting you in the flow for whatever you are doing with your life. None serious, fully joyful, anti-fluff way.
- Each session is a stand-alone lesson of an hour and a half and has a bigger impact when you can make all five sessions.
Why so funny, this is serious stuff?
It’s true: laughter is the best medicine.
Laughter strengthens your immune system, boosts mood, diminishes pain, and protects you from the effects of stress and it draws people together.
Nothing works faster to bring your mind and body back into balance than a good laugh. And laughing whilst learning makes you look at life differently. Personal development is about how we shift our thought patterns to see ourselves in a new light.
